Pancetta Crisps with Honey Recipe

Ingredients Pancetta Crisps on Apple with Gorgonzola

  • 2 Granny Smith Apples sliced thin and with seeds removed (24 slices)
  • Pancetta sliced in thin round circles (24 slices)
  • 4 oz. crumbled Gorgonzola Cheese
  • Fresh ground pepper
  • 1/2 cup of Alfalfa Honey


Step 1

Place pancetta on a foil lined baking sheet. Bake at 450 degrees for 4 to 6 minutes.

Step 2

Transfer to a paper towel-lined dish and let cook for 10 minutes.

Step 3

While the pancetta is cooling and getting crispy, cut apples crosswise into 24 thin rings and remove seeds. Arrange on a platter and top with pancetta and cheese and sprinkle with black pepper.

Step 4

Drizzle with Alfalfa Honey just before serving.
