Honey Cheddar Beer Bread

Ingredients Honey Cheddar Beer Bread

  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons saw palmetto honey
  • 1 bottle (12 oz.) of your beer of choice
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar, shredded
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted

Directions

Step 1

Heat oven to 350˚

Step 2

In a large bowl, mix together dry ingredients.

Step 3

Stir in beer and honey, and mix until well incorporated. Fold in shredded cheese, making sure to not over-mix the batter.

Step 4

Using half of the melted butter, coat the bottom of a loaf pan. Add the batter, then brush the top with the remaining butter.

Step 5

Using half of the melted butter, coat the bottom of a loaf pan. Add the batter, then brush the top with the remaining butter.

Step 6

Bake for 50-60 minutes.
